Program Description:
This two-year program provides comprehensive training and experience in analytical, clinical and managerial aspects of the clinical chemistry laboratory. The trainee receives continuous didactic exposure to the principles of chemical pathology, both basic and applied. Participation in ongoing clinical and translational research projects introduces the fellow to the most recent developments in the diagnostic sciences. Successful completion of the program prepares highly qualified physicians/scientists for board certification and a career as a practicing clinical chemist in the hospital laboratory setting, academia, or industry. |
